My background
I have spent my career on the shop floor of printing and packaging plants, working on gravure, flexographic, offset and digital presses. Most of that time has been in flexible packaging, where colour has to hold across films, foils and laminates that behave differently on every run.
My focus is colour management and process control: characterising what a press actually does, calibrating it to a standard, and putting a measurement routine in place that operators can run on every shift. I am a certified G7 Expert, and FTA certified at Operator and Implementation Specialist level.
I created AK PrintTech Hub to share that knowledge openly, through guides, videos and a community where printing professionals help each other solve production problems.
